Directory of Calligraphic Teachers

Teachers are indispensable to the ongoing progress of calligraphy.
It is for this reason that we provide a free listing of teachers with their contact information, brief biography and description of the skills they teach.
If you are a teacher and wish to be listed, contact ACA at aca@calligraphicsarts.org and give us the information.
The free listing includes all contact information plus up to 75 words about you and what you teach. We encourage teachers to display additional pieces in the Artists Showcase where you may show up to 5 additional images and biographical material for the modest fee of $25 per year.

Some things you may want to consider in contacting a teacher are: daily or hourly fee, cost of travel overnight accommodations, meals, local travel, cutoff date for cancellations, and permission to sell prints.

Guilds will find this directory a rich source of talent for workshops and conferences.
Individuals who desire private tutoring may find a teacher nearby who will guide you through their particular specialties.

The ACA provides this service without endorsement or recommendation of any teacher listed.
We suggest that you ask for references and evaluate each teacher on the merits of the information you receive.

The initials ACA indicate membership in the Association for the Calligraphic Arts.
