Created by calligraphers and educators, the ACA's Calligraphy for the Classroom is a disciplined-base art education program designed to easily slip into any art education program, meeting state education standards for visual art.

Calligraphy for the Classroom was designed as a sequenced program to be taught in six to ten segments for grades four to adult levels. The program is a foundational art course, focusing on lettering skills for the Roman letterforms. While using this curriculum, calligraphy may be incorporated into a number of additional subject matter. Complementary lessons may be taught in any of the following areas: Language Arts - Handwriting and Vocabulary, Social Studies, Reading and Critical Thinking, Math and Library and Research Skills.
